This was our first trip through the high sierra camps, so we started at Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. This camp is large with 69 tents and warm showers. Our tent had 4 cots complete with wool blankets, pillows and clean sheets and a woodburning stove for the cold nights. There are many day hikes around and easy access to all. Dinner and breakfast were served at a large tent for dining family style. Our coldest night was here and our dining experience wasn't as good as the other camps.
